దీనమనస్సుతొ దేవుని యెదుట దీనునిగా ఉండమని
ఇంతే కదా దేవుడు అడుగు చున్నదీ
బలి ఇచ్చుట కంటే మాట వినుటయే శ్రేష్టమన్నది
దేవుడు కోరుచున్నది
ప్రవహించే జలములకు మలినము లేదని
దుప్పికి తెలిసి ఆశపడుతుంది వాగును త్రాగాలని
ప్రవహించే నదిలాంటిది క్రైస్తవ జీవితము
జీవజలమైన వాక్యముతో హృదయము నింపుకొనుము
పాపముతో కలకలు చేసిన ని ప్రయాసము వ్యర్థమూ
కలుగును గాకని పలికిన వెంటనె వెలుగు కలిగెను
నీ ఊపిరి వలన ఆకాశానికి అందము వచ్చెను
అంతరిక్ష మున నీ బలమును దాచిన దేవుడవూ
నా అంతరంగమున పరిశుద్ధతను కోరుచున్నావు
ఘనతా మహిమా పొందుటకు నీవే యోగ్యుడవు
మదిలో పాపము నదిలో మునిగిన పోనే పోదని
విధి నేర్పించి రుధిరము కార్చిన యేసుకు వందనం
గధిలో ప్రార్థన హృదిలో వాక్యము వీధిలో సాక్ష్యము
క్రీస్తును కలిగిన జీవితాల కది ఎంతో అవసరము
వెనకున్నది మరిచి ముందున్న వాటికై సాగి పోవుదమూ
walk justly, fill your heart with love,
be humble before god with a lowly spirit—
this is what god asks.
more than sacrifices, obedience is better—
this is what god desires.
flowing water is never impure,
even a deer longs to drink from it.
the christian life should be like a flowing river—
fill your heart with the life-giving word.
any effort mixed with sin is meaningless.

lives filled with christ are so essential.
