ஊற்று தண்ணீரே என் தன் தேவ ஆவியே
ஜீவ நதியே என்னில் பொங்கி பொங்கிவா
ஆசீர்வதியும் என் நேசக் கார்த்தரே
ஆவியின் வரங்களினால் என்னை நிறப்பும்
1. கன்மலையை பிளந்து வனாந்தரத்தில்
கார்த்தாவே உம் ஜனங்களின் தாகம் தீர்த்தீரே
பள்ளத்தாக்கிலும் மலைகளிலும்
தண்ணீர் பாயும் தேசத்தை நீர் வாக்களித்தீரே
2. ஜீவத் தண்ணிராம் என் தன் நல்ல கார்த்தரே
ஜீவ ஊற்றினால் என்னை நிரைத்திடுவீர்
கனி தந்திட நான் செழித்தோங்கிட
கார்த்தரின் கரத்தில் நித்தம் கணம் பெற்றிட
3. இரட்சிப்பின் ஊற்றுகள் என் தன் சபையதனிலே
எழும்பிட இந்த வேளை இறங்கிடுமே
ஆத்ம பாரமும் பரிசுத்தமும்
ஆவலுடன் பெற்றிடவே வரம் தாருமே
4. திறக்கப்பட்டது ஆம் ஊற்று சிலுவையிலே
இரட்சகரின் காயங்களில் வெளிப்படுத்தே
பாவக்கறைகள் முற்றும் நீங்கிட
பரிசுத்தர் சமுகத்தில் ஜெயம் பெற்றிட
5. கிருபையின் ஊற்றுகள் பெருகிடவே
புது பலனடைந்து நான் மகிழ்ந்திடவே
பரிசுத்தத்தைக் பயத்துடனே
பூரணமாக்கிட தேவ பலன் தாருமே

river of life, overflow within me
bless us, my beloved lord
fill me with the gifts of the spirit
1. you split the rock in the wilderness
o lord, you quenched the thirst of your people
in valleys and on mountains
you promised a land where water flows
2. o my good lord, the living water
through the living spring, fill me
so that i may bear fruit and flourish
and always be fruitful in the hands of the lord
3. let the fountains of salvation rise in my church
at this time, have mercy, o lord
to receive the spiritual burden and holiness
grant the gift with eagerness
4. the fountain opened on the cross
revealed in the wounds of the saviour
that all the stains of sin may be removed
and we may gain victory in the presence of the holy one
5. let the fountains of grace overflow
that i may gain new strength and rejoice
grant me the power of god
to be made perfect in holiness with reverence
