I was lost I had strayed from the paths
खोया था मैं, राहों से भटक गया था,
सुनता था मैं, दुनिया का झूठा साज़ था।
दिल में था अंधियारा, न था कोई रोशन रास्ता,
पर यीशु ने मुझे चुना, दिया अपना प्यार वफ़ा।
यीशु ने पाया मुझे, जब मैं था खो गया,
उसकी बाहों में मिला, जीवन का रास्ता।
पापों से छुड़ाया, अनुग्रह से उठाया,
यीशु ने पाया मुझे, नया बनाया मुझे।
ना मैं लायक था, ना कोई उम्मीद थी,
हर मोड़ पर सिर्फ टूटी हुई तस्वीरें थी।
फिर भी तूने मुझे देखा, जैसे रतन हो कोई,
तेरे प्यार ने रोका, मेरे आँसुओं की धूई।
यीशु ने पाया मुझे, जब मैं था खो गया,
उसकी बाहों में मिला, जीवन का रास्ता।
पापों से छुड़ाया, अनुग्रह से उठाया,
यीशु ने पाया मुझे, नया बनाया मुझे।
तेरा लहू मेरी पहचान है,
तेरी कृपा मेरा जीवन दान है।
खोया था मैं, तूने ढूंढ निकाला,
मेरा यीशु, तू ही मेरा सहारा।
यीशु ने पाया मुझे, हर टूटे पल में,
छू लिया उसने, मेरे कल के गगन में।
तेरे प्यार का रंग, मेरे जीवन में छाया,
मैं खोया था, पर तूने मुझे पाया….
i was lost, i had strayed from the paths,
i kept listening to the false music of the world.
there was darkness in my heart, no shining way ahead,
but jesus chose me, and gave me his faithful love.
jesus found me, when i was lost,
in his arms i discovered the way of life.
he freed me from sins, lifted me by grace,
jesus found me and made me new.
i was not worthy, nor was there any hope,
at every turn there were only broken pictures.
yet you looked at me, as if i were a precious gem,
your love stopped the flood of my tears.
