Shape me LORD

intro
i am but clay, lord, shape me in your hands,
mold me with your mercy according to your plan.
wash away my sin, make my spirit new,
i bow before your throne, lord, i surrender all to you.
lord, come and save me, lord, come and save me,
here at your feet, lord, let your grace redeem me.
lord, come and save me, lord, come and save me,
here at your feet, lord, let your grace redeem me.

verse 1
i chased the riches, i longed for fame,
i wandered through this world, forgetting your name.
i chased my desires, i followed my own way,
but deep inside my heart, i was lost and far away.
i have sinned against you, father, forgive me,
with a broken heart, lord, please receive me.
i bow before your throne, i surrender all to you,
come and save my soul, make my heart brand new.

chorus
lord, come and save me, lord, come and save me,
here at your feet, lord, let your grace redeem me.
lord, come and save me, lord, come and save me,
your mercy is calling, your love has set me free.

verse 2
i walked away from my father's home,
chasing empty dreams, i was lost and alone.
when the storms came crashing, my strength was gone,
with a broken heart, i knew where i belonged.
i have sinned against you, father, forgive me,
with a broken heart, lord, please receive me.
i bow before your throne, i surrender all to you,
come and save my soul, make my heart brand new.

chorus
lord, come and save me, lord, come and save me,
here at your feet, lord, let your grace redeem me.
lord, come and save me, lord, come and save me,
your mercy is calling, your love has set me free.

verse 3
when i came back home, you ran to embrace me,
with open arms of love, you welcomed and forgave me.
you covered me with mercy, you called me your own,
and filled my heart with joy as you brought me back home.
you have forgiven me, you have forgiven me,
your amazing grace has set this captive free.
you have forgiven me, you have forgiven me,
you gave me new life when you welcomed me.

bridge
i am yours forever, lord, i give you everything,
you are my salvation, you are my risen king.
take away my pride, let your spirit lead the way,
shape my heart to worship you, each and every day.
no more running, no more hiding,
in your arms, my soul is resting.
by your mercy, by your grace,
i have found my resting place.

final chorus
lord, come and save me, lord, come and save me,
here at your feet, lord, let your grace redeem me.
lord, come and save me, lord, come and save me,
your mercy is calling, your love has set me free.
lord, you have saved me, lord, you have saved me,
your precious love has healed and restored me.
lord, you have saved me, lord, you have saved me,
forever in your presence, i will worship thee.

outro
