i saw the very end of failure
i melted down holding back my tears
yet stood beautiful under his shadow
this is the beauty of life
though fierce storms came into my life, i crossed unshaken
even when great thunder struck, i stood without trembling
crossing vast oceans again and again, i keep floating on
because jesus is at the base of my boat

unwavering affection amidst the roaring waves
he heals wounds that never seemed to heal
