Twitterவீதி ஓரம் கண்ட பூவை கேள்வி ஒன்னு கேட்டேன்
I saw a flower by the roadside and asked

“why do you always smile with such joy?”
i asked the honeybee sitting on the flower,
“why do you always fly so happily?”
and they sang a song in reply,
telling me that the reason is jesus.
in that song, i forgot all my sorrows,
and now i too have begun to sing with joy.
new and fresh thoughts are rising within me,
my heart has grown wings and takes flight.
a lotus of joy is blooming inside me,
it’s a beauty too deep to describe.
just by thinking of you, lord,
my heart and soul are filled with a thrill.
just by remembering you,
i feel as though something inside me is flying.
even if a thousand days may pass,
who can ever be compared to you, o lord?
no matter how many tunes i play,
can they ever capture the greatness of your name?
new messengers of hope are being born,
my heart is soaring with wings of faith.
a lotus of joy blossoms again within me,
for you are the true goodness of my life.
just by thinking of you, lord,
