I long to reach heaven
i long to reach heaven,
where sorrow will end in the land of grace.
i will see the savior whom i always need,
and live with him forever.
every knee will bow before him,
on that great day, death and darkness will vanish.
i will see face to face the one who died and rose for me,
my god, the holy one.
when jesus my lord comes again,
he will wipe away all my tears.

will turn into gain and joy for me.
